BREATHING A DIFFERENT AMBIENCE AT BELITA'S

Something interesting to me during my stay at Belita's is finding that red colour is sparkling at each corner of her apartment. I find this not only in the physical environment but also in her character. For me, as a painter, red is a warm and strong colour, that's what I've found in her.
She is sensitive inside but she often expresses in such a spontaneous and straightforward manner that she makes me feel very much like at home.

  1. A heartfelt lovely post Sophie and thank you for the photos. it is great to see Belita as well as yourself.

I too prefer the warm colours but must say, I love all colours the brighter the better. LOL

  2. aaaaaaaawww, what a lovely capture of the two of you. To see my hero's face, you are beautiful Belita and so nice to see Sophie too, of whom I must now make time to get to know better too. Lots of hugs, what a wonderful visit, it sounds like. One dream of mine to go and see Lisbon too and get Belita to show me the places, I already feel I know so well, through her photographs. Number one on list, number two to go visit Sonny in India and then off to visit Monica in the US and sneak past Amalie in Norway, maybe on my way to see my mother in Denmark. Dreams cost nothing and you are all welcome here any day in South Africa as I often have said before.
    Much Love

  3. So nice! At last we've got the opportunity to see images of both of you. It's obvious that you are both having interesting days..related souls tend to find their way to each others!

  4. I carry inside my heart,
As in a chest too full to shut,
All the places where I have been,
All the ports at which I have called,
All the sights I've seen through windows and portholes
    And from quarterdecks, dreaming.
And all of this, which is so much, is nothing next to what I want...

    Thank you :)
