Sweet Avila II ~ Memory

Sweet Avila II

remembering is the absent chatting with the absent.
the distance turning toward the distance.

love allows distance to recede,
as if looking into a poetic dream;
listening intently to one sound only:
the sound of the wind.

perhaps...remembering is the sound of the wind.
