Love In Exile

memories

Wine cannot be known by its smell is unreliable.

Love have a shared smell: the smell of longing for something else;
a smell that remembers another smell...
a panting, nostalgic smell that guides you,
like a worn tourist map, to the smell of the original place.

A smell is a memory, takes you into the realms of what is lost.

A Shape Of Light

I enter from its stone arch
like a wave enters eternity.
I cross dreams as if I were crossing rooms
I see in myself the mystery of intimate time:
a shape of light

Entering Into Great Silence

Therefore, I will allure her,
bring her into the wilderness;
and speak tenderly to her.

Basilica of the Holy Cross of the Valley of the Fallen

Basílica de la Santa Cruz del Valle de los Caídos

The Valle de los Caídos "Valley of the Fallen" is a Catholic basilica and a monumental memorial in the municipality of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, near Madrid, conceived by Spanish general Francisco Franco to honor and bury those who fell during the Spanish Civil War.

In 1960, Pope John XXIII declared the underground crypt a basilica. The dimensions of this underground basilica, as excavated, are larger than those of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

The visit to the Valley of the Fallen, including Basilica and Benedictine Abbey, was an unexpected precious memory.

Sometimes, Life rewarded us with beautiful dreams of love...

The Most West Corner Of Europe ~ In Portugal

 Aqui, onde a terra se acaba e o mar começa...
Here, where the land ends and the sea begins...

A Village Life II

Village Life II

If you ask me about the power of poetry, I say:
silence is not as fragile as we might perceive.
it never fades,
since it hides its modest shadow in the earth's secret.
