Sweet Avila

Sweet Avila

The writer José Martínez Ruiz, in his book El alma castellana (The Castilian Soul), described it as "perhaps the most 16th century city in Spain", and it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.

Avila loves me...  :)

  1. A lovely shot. I've visited Spain several times, visited many famous sites, but I've never visited Avila. I hope to, one day.

España, a pesar de la situación económica
actual es muy agradable de visitar con mucha historia
en cualquier lugar que se visite. Y la comida buena.

  10. This really is a wonderful work of art - and just that touch of orange combined with all the interesting line work. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:) And my apologies for being so late in responding.
