This walk along these walls has a way of making us realize that even if our sojourn on the plahet may be a short one, some things will truly last forever. Even after nearly 10 centuries the Puerta de San Vicente (Gate of St Vincent) and Puerta del Alcazar (Gate of the Fortress)are just too beautiful for words. Thanks for sharing these wonders.

DeleteAvila sometimes called the City of Stones and Saints.
I can't say it's my favorite city in Spain, but life happened that I simply returned again and again.
